The Source understands the multitude of needs that lead businesses to seek capital, which is why we have identified and support several local Community Financial Institutions that we know will have your interests at the forefront.

Cook County committed $2.4 million to a curated selection of five Community Financial Institutions to increase available capital and organizational capacity to support small businesses in Chicago. Through the Community Financial Institution Capacity Building grant program, five CFIs each received up to $500,000. The CFIs collectively project that these funds will impact over 1,000 businesses and leverage more than $27 million in private investment.
