The Cook County Small Business Source is proud to announce the addition of two Business Support Organizations (BSOs).
Builders Avenue and the Chinese Mutual Aid Association, both based in Chicago, have joined the BSO network, bringing the total number of BSOs to 13. All BSOs work to provide no-cost advising to small businesses throughout Cook County.
Builders Avenue works with diverse entrepreneurs in the construction trades, helping to plan, manage and fund businesses through one-on-one training and implementation support.
Builders Avenue will be part of Cook County Solar Synergy, a new program that connects contractors with the resources they need to enter the solar-installation sector.
The Chinese Mutual Aid Association, meanwhile, is a long-standing social impact organization that has grown to represent clients and participants from over 70 countries.
Founded by Chinese refugees in 1981, the Chinese Mutual Aid Association offers business-advising support in over 10 Asian languages.
The addition of this organization to The Source’s BSO network will further support Cook County’s growing Asian population.
The Source’s BSO network spans throughout Cook County. The Source matches business owners with an advisor from a BSO who provides expert advising that takes businesses to the next level.
