Free Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification Class

The Illinois Restaurant Association has partnered with the Berwyn Development Corporation to offer a FREE ServSafe Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification class to Berwyn and Suburban Cook County area food businesses.

With the goal of supporting restaurants and hospitality employees, this initiative is being provided through the support of the Cook County Small Business Source.

Registration is required and limited to two (2) attendees per business.

Course Requirements:
Attendees must meet the following requirements, and complete the following tasks to be eligible for certification:
Associated businesses must be operating in Suburban Cook County**
Bring a valid photo ID to the date of the test
Complete all hours of training
Live or work within Cook County
Receive a minimum passing grade of 70% on the exam
**Chicago-based businesses are NOT eligible to register staff for this course.

Course materials including an exam booklet, question sheet and writing tools will be provided to you upon arrival.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are unable to attend after registering, you must notify Berwyn Development Corp. staff as soon as possible. Registered students who do not attend without making advanced notice may be deemed ineligible to register for future BDC training events.
