Introducing Cook County Solar Synergy, designed to help businesses enter the solar-installation market

Is your business ready to enter the solar-installation market?

The Source is here to help. Cook County Government recently launched Cook County Solar Synergy, a program that connects small businesses with The Source–and all the resources they need to become solar-panel installers. Builders Avenue, a new Business Support Organization (BSO) with The Source, will provide industry-specific advising, and businesses will also have access to contractor-accelerator programs that offer specialized training, business-development support and more.

As always, these services come at no cost to participating businesses. Builders Avenue is an expert in cultivating the financial health of businesses in the construction industry. The nonprofit organization previously served as a referral partner for The Source and is excited about now serving as a BSO.

“The Source brings together the best of our small-business ecosystem,” Builders Avenue Chief Strategy and Development Officer Nitika Nautiyal said in a recent press release. “The collaboration amongst BSOs is inspiring and a great reminder that we are stronger together.”

Businesses interested in entering the solar-installation market can sign up for advising through The Source—and be sure to check the box reading: “My business does work related to solar installation and/or construction and I am interested in business advising services.” Cook County Solar Synergy is led by the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development and also supports job seekers interested in working in solar installation.
